Job title: Program Enrollment Specialist - Independent Contractor working on the new state program

Estimated Commission Pay: About $60 per hour:

Part-Time ~20 hrs/week: ~$300 per subscription, ~$1,200/week, ~$5,200/month, 💰~$62,400/year

Full-Time ~40 hrs/week: ~$300 per subscription, ~$2,400/week, ~$10,400/month, 💰~$124,800/year

(1099 Independent Contractor – You control your schedule)

Community Solar Program:

The New Mexico Community Solar Act of 2021 allows customers to receive benefits from a solar project without installing solar panels on their property.  The state's program makes it easy for customers to have good savings, and low-income customers will have excellent savings.  Although this is New Mexico’s first community solar program, other programs have been available in different states, such as Colorado, for over eleven years.  (learn more at csnewmexico.com)

WattsUp’s Purpose:

WattsUp promotes awareness and enrolls subscribers in the New Mexico Community Solar program. We collaborate with solar developers (Subscriber Organizations) and subscription providers (Subscription Managers) to ensure community solar projects are fully subscribed promptly. In this program, WattsUp is known as a Subscriber Aggregator.

  • Connect with households across the state — renters and owners — using creative outreach:

    • Social media

    • Local events

    • Referral programs

    • Neighborhood canvassing

  • Share the community solar story in a way that inspires trust and gets results.
